Be Pretty Even if Preggy Like Natalie

Have you already watched the movie “Black Swan”? Natalie Portman was indeed terrific in this movie. He had proven that she is one true versatile actress that the movie industry can be proud of.

The year 2010 was a good year for this Jewish beauty not just because she won several commendations in the movie Black Swan which includes; Best Actress given by Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards, Best Actress in a Motion Picture in the Golden Globe Awards and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role at the Screen Actors Guild Awards), but she also received a precious God-given gift which is a baby.

Natalie is currently conceiving her first child with choreographer hubby Benjamin Millepied. They are expecting their baby in the summer of this year.

Even though she had a baby bump in her tummy, this petite lady can carry herself effortlessly beautiful as seen on some of her appearances on Awards galas and other events that require her presence.

Where’s the baby Natalie? If you don’t know that she is pregnant, you would be deceived by her blue cocktail dress that she wore during the 83rd Academy Awards nominations luncheon held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 7, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California.

She was tagged as one of the best dressed female celebrities at the Golden Globe Awards night as she nailed a gorgeous peach floor length gown with a bloody red rose statement at the center.

A pregnant goddess drama! Natalie donned a simple form fitting white gown in strapless cut as she posed in the red carpet during the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

So for moms-to-be out there, being pregnant doesn’t exclude you for being pretty and fashionable. You can always look sexy and pretty (slashing for now the waistline size).  The key is to always feel good and be confident and to have a good eye on the type of white dresses  or white debutante ball gowns that will look good on you at this “delicate” time.

The annual Gotham awards were already on its 20^th year of honoring independent filmmakers who excel in their endeavor of showcasing their skills and talents in the film industry. Also, actors and actresses were also awarded for their critically-acclaimed performances for their distinct roles in the films. The awarding night happened at the busy street of Cipriani, Wall Street on November 29, 2010 in New York City.

Not only their garnered awards and commendations made the night glitter but what lit in the red carpet the most are the women who dazzled as they pose in similar black dresses. 

Winona Ryder is a beautiful villain princess in that balloony strapless Dolce & Gabbana black gown, paired with black pointy heels perfect as a cocktail dresses.

This “Good Wife’s  star Julianna Margulies showed that she really is a good exemplar wife as she wore a simple cut black which is also perfect as a homecoming dress.

 

 Amber Tamblyn looked cute and bubbly as she posed in the red carpet in her simple black draped v-neck dress.

The controversial Rosie Perez opted for a sexy haltered all black dress.

 

Still blooming in her 40’s, Actress Julianne Moore looks sultry in that flowery printed black mini Lanvin dress paired with opaque black tights.
